Mar Bravo is located just minutes from downtown Salinas, in the Province of Santa Elena.
This beach covers an area of 17 kilometers. Having very dangerous waters it is forbidden to swim on their shores. Only those surfing can do because it has conditions more suitable for the sport.
The name suggests, the sea is dangerous, rocky bottom and forcibly acquiring for its bay and rocks.
On the beach and near the point, there is a loberia. On a small island or rocky wolves sleeping area.
The point is about 200 meters from the beach in the direction of this rocky area.
The wave is great tour and very interesting for surfers of experience.
Playa de Mar Bravo has a warm climate with temperatures of 25 degrees Celsius. As a result of good weather this spa offers different daytime and evening activities. In the months from December to May different international beach sports tournaments and dance resources and beauty contests are developed.
The craft is an office within the inhabitants of this place. They market themselves and elaborate shell-based crafts, straw shawl, raft, same banana and ceramics.

How to get to Mar Bravo
This beach is located within the premises of the FAE (Ecuadorian Air Force), right next to the
landing strip. To enter must present the identity document or passport.
We must get to the beach walk from Salinas or taxi (about $ 2-3 from center).
We recommend bringing a phone to call a taxi to return.
The point is only for experts, beginners can go on the coast.
